Dona was Playmate of the Month for March 1984. Her pictorial was titled Girl on the Run.
Dona was born Feb. 7, 1964, in Norwalk, CA. She was a gymnast and runner while growing up in Newport Beach, CA. She graduated from Fountain Valley High School in Fountain Valley, CA, in 1982. She was a Mint 400 queen in 1983.
Following her Playmate appearance, Dona went on to appear in a number of Playboy pictorials, Newsstand Specials and videos. She made guest appearances on the television shows “Automan,” “Mike Hammer,” “Matt Houston,” “Knight Rider” and “Married with Children,” among others.
Dona also performed in a number of movies in the later 1980s and early 1990s. She was the first of several Playmates to star in movies made by Andy and Arlene Sidaris featuring scantily-clad undercover agents.
She was agent Donna Hamilton in seven low-budget action exploitation films for the Sidarises: “Hard Ticket to Hawaii,” “Picasso Trigger,” “Savage Beach,” “Guns,” “Do or Die,” “Hard Hunted” and “Fit to Kill.” She played model Nancy Johnson in “Click: The Calendar Girl Killer” and had small parts in “Doin’ Time,” “Dragnet” and “Mortuary Academy.”
Dona is quoted in “The Playmate Book: Five Decades of Centerfolds” as saying, “I hung up my movie shoes when I got pregnant, but it’s amazing, I still get fan mail from all over the world, as for those films as well as Playboy.”
Dona has a son, Grayson, who she had in 1994 with husband Bruce Berman.
As of 2009, Dona was living in Danville, CA, working for the websites centerfoldwives.com and ppgcollet.com.
